Well I talked to one of my mangers last night and it seems that it is still possible for me to go seasonal. Hopefully this will turn out to be true at the end of the month and I will be able to remain part of the company. Joy :-)
In other news I'm down to a Disney size 4. Double joy.

Last week was crazy. After seeing Paranormal Activity, going costume shopping and to Waffle House, I woke up at 6am - insanely ill. It was probably massive amount of popcorn I ate, but I was in no condition for the gym the next morning - or the morning after that. Basically I missed a whole week of training. This is something my body was not happy about yesterday, my first day of training since.
My friend Jake has joined Bally's now as well. We had a training session this morning where he basically cursed me the whole time. But, he did promise himself he wasn't going to go home in the same shape he left so I told him all the hard work would be worth it.
I applied to 3 (technically 4) Professional Internships. So far I've had an interview for one (two, rather: CP Alumni Only. Guest Relations and Vacation Club Sales Assistant.) and I've been rejected for one (Public Relations). I still haven't heard back from Internship Three - Social Media and Marketing - or Weddings and Youth Marketing. I hope I get contacted for an interview soon.
In family news, my Uncle Larry died last Thursday. My family is in Orlando right now, but I called off for Bereavement Leave so I can go back to Tampa with them to help clean out the apartment. I'm so glad my Managers are so nice and understanding, I love my area. But my parents want to leave around 10am tomorrow. So I'm going with Jake to do a double training session again at 7:30am, then stopping by Walgreens to refill prescriptions, changing super-fast then meeting the parents at the gate.
And now, I have to go shower and get to bed. Hopefully I'm not as light of a sleeper as I was last night.

Not too shabby
At the end of a crazy week (work-wise and family-life-wise) was a pretty good day.
Tonight I worked Glow - which I was dreading. I like Glow while I'm out with the cart, but once I get back something always goes wrong to stress me out and ruin the night. Well, I haven't worked glow in a few weeks and since then they've moved all of the stuff to Norway. No longer are week counting and/or building our carts in a sweltering hot container. Now we're indoors, not only in shade but in the cool air conditioning (or in today's case, the warmth - it was freaking cold today.) So, that was a nice change. I was also Glowing with Ron and Rebeca. Ron is a fun guy and really chill, and I love Rebeca. She is adorable.
After a stress free count of the carts and a delicious dinner break (thanks for sending me that chili recipe, Kelley) I rolled my cart over to Germany. It's the Food and Wine Festival right now in Epcot, so the number of inebriates has multiplied. Those that I encountered tonight were hilarious. Two guys loved wearing the Chomping Skulls so much they came back and bought the two I had attached to my cart so they could wear them on their back, too.
At 9:20 I rolled my cart back without much trouble and after all the counts were done for the evening I had made $980 and was only short $11. Amazing. Best night Glowing, yet.
Tomorrow I have class at eight in the morning, then a personal training session with Ally at noon. I also have to stop by Partners to deposit some money into my Savings and possibly open a checking account, depending on how much time I have. Plus I have to work on my resume and apply for those last two Professional Internships I want. BUT in the evening I'm picking up Brittie and we are going to see Paranormal Activity (mmm movie theatre popcorn. . .) then the two of us and some coworkers are going on a hunt for Halloween costumes. Oh my gosh I just realized I only have a week left to go to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween. Eek!
So much to do, so little time.

Workin'
Well tonight I am stocking Kiosk and also running Glow . However, there isnt anything in stock that Kiosk could possibly need, so I am just sitting around until one of the Glow Carts needs me.
Trainer Ally weighed me today before our session. I lost 2Lbs which is right on track. I've almost finished the eight sessions I paid for when I joined but I would like to keep going if I can. I feel healthier, my stomache is flatter and I know if I keep it up I could do even better. We're supposed to talk about it on Friday, but I am worried about cost.
Ah well, time to wait for someone to need me.

Brand new
Well I certainly accomplished alot today. I joined Ballys Total Fitness and start working out with my personal trainer, Ally, tomorrow morning - I'm very excited. I went grocery shopping for more healthy foods. I also got my hair cut. I had to get most of the length cut off (*sniff*) because it was so damaged. I am a tiny bit sad but it's totally healthy now and love that. I'll post pictures later.
Working late today and in earlier than planned tomorrow.

Glowy-glow
I ended up going to HoB last nigbt with Mariah and two of her coworkers - one of which we lost within five minutes, he was fine. It started off as per usual - too many people, not-so-great DJ - but ended up pretty fun. We never found Caspian, but we did see Kent ( love that boy) and met others who were interesting to say the least.
Amazingly the carts were built when I got backstage to start work ( I love Jill), so checking the carts didn't take that long. I was sweating like a crazy perzon the whole time (sweatproof makeup is needed) but it didn't take long.
So now I'm on break and when I get back the fun begins. I'm hopng tonight runs smoothly, but I brought a small notepad to mark what I sell down. Its pretty bizzarre I think that the start and end counts are the only thing we have to go by.
Day off tomorrow and I hope to attempt dying my hair tonight. Eep.

MIA
I have been super busy here in Mouse Land and havent actually had much time to be on my computer at all, much less time to update the blog. So I'm going to start mobile blogging when i can.
Well let me see. . . I am getting over a massive cold. I FEEL 100% but I dont think my throat got the memo. I somehow got some soup on my screen last night. It didn't damage anything, but now my phone has a slowly healing soup stain (it glows a little.)
Im supposed to go to HoB later with the rest of the 609 crew. We're gonna try to meet up with Prince Caspian - his name is Josh, but we prefer to think of him as Caspian.
The soft opening for Food and Wine is on the 24th and I'm so excited I actually get to be here for it this year. Plus, the parents are coming down on the 27th which I'm also excited about (miss ya momma!)
That's all for now. Peace out.

Insane
So, clearly, once training got into swing shit got crazy. I have been working constantly and my next day off is Tuesday. I'm going to summerize what's happened since my last post.
- We went to the House of Blues the other night (free entry on Sundays and free drinks for women until midnight). Crazy.
- I walked the money for the first time on Monday - which was awful - but then I did it again last night and it wasn't that bad.
- Small child in Epcot was miming choking/zapping people and when his mother told him to stop he said "But I'm the Empire!" Classic.
- Adults appreciate Birthday calls from Goofy much more than children.
- Pluto can do a damn good NSync impression.
- "Poncho" is the word and they are $6.50
- Mist fans are still the bane of my existence.
- We need a cork board in our apartment just for restaurant menus and bussiness cards.
- Tired tourists who are inside are much more fun than tired tourists who are outside
- I am much more patient than I thought I was.
- Sleep is still my favorite activity.

Part 2
Today started insanely early. I actually woke up at 5:01 after thinking my alarm was my roomie's alarm going off at 4:45 (can't believe that didn't wake me up, I was out like a light). The bus was there when we got to the pavilion so we got right on. Talked to these guys in the seats next to us - didn't get their names, but one is driving the Monorail. We got to Disney University (which is backstage near the Magic Kingdom) pretty fast, we only chilled in the cafeteria for about 15 minutes before we headed to class.
None of us housemates were in the same class, which was sad, but the other four people at my table were nice. They're names are written in my book. One of the girls at my table is also working at Epcot. She's working attractions, but I don't really remember which ride exactly. Also, Patrick totally looks like Elliot Stabler (Law and Order, what?)
The women who ran the class (Donna and Iliana) were nice and pretty fun. All in all it really wasn't that bad. Most of the videos were nice - although that legal video was crazy boring and the sexual harassment PSA was hilarious. Iliana also told us a story that made me want to cry about this woman who she helped meet Mickey Mouse after she said she had been "waiting 62 years". . . you had to be there.
Anyway, we got out of there at noon and I basically passed out till 4:45 when we got back. Then we all went to CiCi's because we had coupons, which was brilliant. Then we decided to go to Disney's Hollywood Studios for awhile. I gave the tour, we rode Star Tours, sang and danced to random songs in the street, saw a quick show and practiced our Disney Point. I decided to forgo Wendy's Frosty and Fries one of my housemates wanted on the way home because of all the crap I had eaten (cereal, Pop Tarts, Lunchable, Cici's. . .) and we all decided we'll start doing Pilate's as soon as we get a TV. And lo and behold when we walked in the door, there was a TV sitting in the living room. Its all hooked up with cable and DRooVD player now.
All in all it was a pretty good day. Now I'm off to bed - I have to catch the bus for 6:45 again in the morning.

At the beginning. . .
Well I decided to start this blog to keep everyone up to date now that I'm down in Orlando doing the Disney College thing.
I moved in, got registered and oriented yesterday - which was the most hectic day of my life. Disney Casting is like the place that sends you mad. That experience only deepened my belief that there are no straight lines in Disney World. Because the computer just didn't like my pinky finger on my left hand I missed the bus. So I went to lunch with the parents and tried to relax - no such luck, really.
Then there was the housing meeting, where I ended up in front of the air vent. It honestly wouldn't have made that much of a difference if I had been able to sit somewhere else. The whole room was basically a refrigerator.
The other girls living in the apartment are all really nice and I think its not gonna be too bad. There is one girl I haven't really talked to that much, but we do have 6 months.

Today started off pretty bad and stressfull. I had to walk through a sea of gorgeous shoes in DSW in order to find my two pairs of the most boring black shoes you could possibly find, but the rest of the day turned out pretty fantastic. I got some fantastic Mexican food, set up this blog, went to walmart with the roomies (craziness), got a new shower head (old one is shit), set up the new shower head, put away ALL of my stuff and now I am done for the day.
Tomorrow I have to be up and on a bus by 6:45 (ewwy). Then on Thursday I finally start job training and orientation and the insanity really begins.
And because I referenced it earlier, here's my favorite part of the 12 Tasks of Asterix:
